The charge air cooling process is therefore realised by a water-cooled charge air cooler, which is replaced by the WagnerTuning high-performance charge air cooler. The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has a new type of performance mesh with dimensions of 222 mm x 200 mm x 120 mm. This was specially developed for the high demands of the RS4/RS5 engine and offers 185% more external mesh volume compared to the original intercooler. The ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer and at the same time enables the best possible internal air flow. The cast aluminium end boxes were designed in CAD and optimised with the aid of CFD simulations. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. The standard damper system, for example with electronic or hydraulic control, remains active. Setup - sporty and harmonious spring rates The high-quality chrome-silicon steel springs used by KW coilover springs are matched to the respective standard suspension dampers and wheel loads in their spring rate for each specific vehicle. When developing the respective spring sets, we ensure that the spring rates also harmonise perfectly with the different damper characteristics of your adaptive standard suspension.
