With net dimensions of 720 mm x 201 mm x 130 mm (stepped), it offers a generous external charge air volume of 15.4 liters compared to the conventional 5.5 liters (OEM). Thanks to the newly developed performance high performance mesh (bar and plate), sufficient airflow is maintained for adjacent components such as the water cooler, while the intercooler itself remains light and compact. With a total weight of just 11.9 kg, it is a real lightweight. The cast aluminium end boxes were created using the CAD process and optimized using CFD simulations to ensure optimum internal airflow. An integrated air duct in the end box ensures even filling of the competition high-performance network. The inlets and outlets of the intercooler have been enlarged to Ø 65 mm, which makes it necessary to reinforce the silicone hoses. Overall, our intercooler offers a significantly lower back pressure than the standard intercooler.
