The Dry Carbon Aero Splitters are manufactured using signature autoclave technology with pre-preg 3K twill carbon fibre and finished with UV protected high gloss clear coat for the ultimate lightweight, durable and snug fitting splitters. The name Dry Carbon comes from the manufacturing process. Dry Carbon is formed by using a pre-preg or impregnated piece of carbon material. This piece of carbon is first placed in a mould and then placed in a sealed vacuum (autoclave) to cure properly. This particular method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the wet method. The autoclave vacuum process for producing dry carbon means that fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets form in the carbon. Dry carbon is the highest quality version of carbon products produced.
