The intake system for the Honda Civic Type-R FK8 was a new kind of challenge for the aircraft engineers at Eventuri, requiring a lot of ingenuity and technical know-how. The problem was the position of the OEM airbox, which sits directly in front of the radiator fan in the FK8. This arrangement poses a challenge for Eventuri's open filter system - how do you ensure that the intake system does not draw hot air out of the engine compartment?
The solution is a completely new type of carbon scoop that draws the fresh airflow from the direction of the fenders. The opening, which is twice as large as the original airbox, is no longer in the airflow of the radiator fan and thus ensures cool and even ventilation.
The well-known effect of the Eventuri intake systems then also takes effect in the Honda Civic Type-R FK8:
The airflow is accelerated via the cone inside the filter housing. The bundled and directed air then reaches the turbo at lower temperatures and more evenly due to less friction in the air supply. This not only significantly improves responsiveness, but also increases performance.

Both the Eventuri Honda Civic FK2 Type-R Intake and the FK8 Type-R Intake were available in 2 versions. In both cases, the turbo pipe ONLY fits the new variants (V2) of the intakes. This means that for all customers with old (V1) intakes, the LMM pipe upgrade must first be purchased.
Eventuri offers two variants for both pipes (FK2 and FK8): Each for V1 and V2 customers.

The intake system for the F87 Competition is designed to allow the turbos to work more efficiently. By replacing the stock airbox system with our patented venturi filter housings and smooth curved pipes, the airflow to the turbos is more laminar, allowing them to roll with less resistance.
As the Competition has no air openings behind the grilles, we have also added sealed ducts to ensure inlet temperatures remain as low as possible. The combination of our venturi housings, organically shaped pipes and sealed ducts results in an optimised intake that sets a benchmark for this car.
The Eventuri difference
The Competition Eventuri system uses our patented carbon fibre housings with our bespoke Gen 2 filters, allowing an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbos. Not just another cone filter with heat shield, but a unique design that creates the venturi effect and maintains laminar flow conditions to reduce drag on the turbo.

The Lamborghini Huracan / Audi R8 4S Eventuri intake system - form and function in sublime harmony.
Our goal was to create a flagship intake system and set a benchmark for this platform - by using organic curves and prepreg carbon fiber, the results speak for themselves. Gone are the awkward cuboid plastic airboxes and in their place is a beautifully engineered system that allows for smoother airflow and unleashes the glorious roar of the V10 engine. Every detail has been considered, from the flawless carbon fiber with integrated MAF pipes to the heat shields and custom silicone connectors. More power, improved throttle response and an exhilarating intake sound to enhance the Huracan driving experience. The Huracan requires tuning to make the intakes work without Check Engine Light. This is due to the narrow MAF range set at the factory, which is exceeded by the higher airflow delivered by the intakes.
The Eventuri DifferenceThe Huracan Eventuri system uses our patented carbon fiber housing that provides an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the MAF pipe. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that creates the Venturi effect.
