The main aspects are the balance between aerodynamic efficiency and air intake temperature. An open system was chosen but with differences to other aftermarket airboxes. This can be recognised by the shape of the carbon housing and the position and shape of the air filter. The inverted cone-shaped filter ultimately results in the Venturi effect, creating a uniform laminar airflow. In the E46 in particular, the Eventuri kit not only delivers advantages in terms of performance and response behaviour, but the sound of the engine is now also more present.
