KW coilover springs The spring set with stepless lowering KW coilover springs are used to lower the vehicle in combination with the standard dampers. In contrast to conventional spring sets, individual height adjustment is possible within the tested adjustment range. By redesigning the system to allow a much more direct path, the turbo is able to generate boost pressure with less drag and therefore reach the target boost pressure earlier in the rev range. This intake system is designed to provide the highest possible flow rate while maintaining the lowest intake temperatures to achieve a net power gain. The de-throttled flow path also allows for a more pronounced spooling of the turbo, adding to the dynamics of the overall driving experience. Bench test Our M139 intake has been independently tested by a Mercedes specialised tuner in the UK - MSL Performance. This means that the charge air is not cooled using the ambient air as a cooling medium (as usual), but with the aid of a separate cooling water circuit. A reduction in the cooling water temperature can therefore be directly equated with an improved cooling performance of the charge air.
