KW coilover suspension DDC ECU KW Dynamic Damping Control ECU Individuality at the touch of a button. The KW DDC coilovers are the intelligent suspension solution for retrofitting from the KW iSuspension product range. They combine the advantages of an adaptive damping system with a vehicle-specific sporty and harmonious damper characteristic with a stylish and sporty lowering. The adaptive KW coilovers are available in the KW DDC ECU version with optional app control for vehicles without actively controlled standard suspension and as KW DDC Plug & Play version for selected vehicle models with adaptive standard suspension. The adaptive KW DDC ECU coilovers allow a stepless lowering in the tested adjustment range. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the stepless lowering can be varied quickly and easily even after years. In contrast to conventional spring sets, individual height adjustment is possible within the tested adjustment range. This solution uses vehicle-specific spring mounts with matched KW lowering springs and suitable elastomers as well as dust protection systems. The standard damper system, for example with electronic or hydraulic control, remains active. Setup - sporty and harmonious spring rates The high-quality chrome-silicon steel springs used by KW coilover springs are matched to the respective standard suspension dampers and wheel loads in their spring rate for each specific vehicle. When developing the respective spring sets, we ensure that the spring rates also harmonise perfectly with the different damper characteristics of your adaptive standard suspension.
