In conjunction with the standard flap control system (with type approval), this flap exhaust system has ECE approval so that it can be used legally within the scope of the StVZO without registration in the vehicle documents.
Here you get a sports air filter with all its advantages:- higher air flow rate- higher filter performance (even smaller particles are filtered)- The particles are trapped in the filter after intake and thus remain trapped until cleaning.- Washable and reusable filter- Increased air flow and therefore better combustion in the engine- No reduction in air flow over a minimum of 50,000 km- Sufficient air even at high engine speeds- more power- Better intake noise- Reduced fuel consumption
These sports air filters have polyurethane as the edge material. Polyurethane is more resistant to petrol, vapours and the like. It has an ideal remoulding. This ensures that the edge of the filter is 100% sealed even when it is reinserted after cleaning.
The edge surface is made from a single mould. With many other makes, pores in the edge material and joining surfaces where the edge is joined together often lead to a crack in the edge, which can result in unclean air being sucked into the engine.
With paper filters, the air flow rate is significantly lower and decreases further after just a short period of use.In addition, paper filters must be disposed of after the specified mileage. TitanTec sports air filters last a lifetime. This is good for the environment and your wallet.Other washable cotton filters only filter much larger particles compared to TitanTec sports air filters.
Cleaning the filters:A TitanTec sports air filter has no oil residue and has 100% of its original performance again after cleaning.Cleaning is quick and easy.We recommend cleaning after 15,000-20,000 kilometres or once a year at the latest.The best time to clean the air filter is around the end of May or beginning of June, i.e. after the pollen count, as this is the time when the air filter is under the most strain.Under no circumstances should aggressive cleaning agents such as petroleum ether, cleaning petrol, brake cleaner etc. be used, as this can damage the material.

The Aulitzky Exhaust OPF-Deleter module is used to mechanically remove the OPF (gasoline particulate filter) without subsequent software adaptation.It is installed in the engine compartment and can be removed at any time without leaving any residue.
- No error messages from the module
- No detection possible using the manufacturers test device
Notes:An OPF deleter is only there to suppress an error message from the catalytic converter or OPF monitoring. This can appear if, for example, a modified downpipe or an export flap control is installed and the flaps are permanently open as a result.Caution:The OPF must still be installed.However, if the OPF is removed completely, the OPF offset cables are required in addition to the OPF deleter. (These are also available in the online store).After removing the OPF, the complete sensor system including all lines must still be connected to the exhaust system and be tight! Otherwise there will be error messages despite the OPF deleter and offset cable!

The carbon fibre intake system is an attractive high performance upgrade for the 1.8T and 2.0T engines found in various vehicles on the MQB platform. The factory intake design has the foundation for excellent performance, but much of it is sacrificed in an effort to fulfil other design requirements.
With requirements to support only factory power output, low noise levels and long service intervals, there is plenty of room for improvement. Expect more power and torque across the powerband with a more direct and responsive feel when operating the throttle. Engine and turbocharger noise will be improved and, depending on driving style, fuel consumption may even be reduced.
In the endeavour to achieve an ideal pressure ratio (1:1) between inlet and outlet, the intake area has several important features.
Through CFD optimisation and validation on the test bench, the filter housing of the intake section has been shaped into a spiral that uses the inertia of the air entering the system to increase the pressure on the outside of the filter. In this way, an even pressure distribution is achieved over the entire surface of the filter and not just at a few key points, maximising the utilisation of the filter area. Compared to many other common intake styles, the APR intake system allows the use of a small, compact filter with better filter utilisation than systems that are often twice the size.
Unlike conventional open element filters, the APR intake system only draws air from the grille area near the front edge of the bonnet. In this way, air is drawn in from an area of relatively high pressure. As the speed of the vehicle increases, the pressure builds up further and ultimately supports the effectiveness of the intake system. By sealing the intake system, the pressure created by the ram air effect and the spiral shape is not simply lost in the engine compartment. This is in contrast to filters with open elements, which draw in air from a relatively low pressure range in the engine compartment.
The design specifications called for an intake system that would only reproduce the true turbocharger sound of the engine when the air is drawn in through the turbocharger or expelled from the diverter valve when the throttle valve is lifted.
The stiffness of the carbon fibre composite material results in engine intake resonance, allowing occupants to hear a clean and clear intake note without sounding intrusive or cheap.

With factory pre-configured damping.Our entry-level model for more driving pleasure through an appealing and individually adjustable lowering is the KW V1 coilover suspension in the KW typical "inox-line". Thanks to its high-quality workmanship, the consistent use of stainless steel struts, corrosion-resistant springs and harmonised components, it stands for many years of driving pleasure - and not just for the life of the car.
Stepless loweringThe KW V1 enables maximum lowering within the tested adjustment range. This varies depending on the vehicle model and can, for example, be between 30 and 70 millimetres or 50 to 90 millimetres for an individual lowering. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the stepless lowering can be varied quickly and easily even years later. Depending on the vehicle, the lowering is carried out either on the wheel-guiding KW stainless steel suspension struts or on the rear axle height adjustment for non-wheel-guiding double-wishbone rear axles.
The benchmark for sporty, dynamic tuning fansWith its harmonious basic set-up for sporty driving on the road, the KW V1 convinces the discerning tuning fan. Our development engineers determine a specific damper set-up and spring rate for each vehicle in order to increase your driving pleasure with the optimum balance of sportiness and suitability for everyday use. After all, you are not buying just any coilover suspension, but a KW coilover suspension that has been specially developed and tuned for your vehicle type. As a manufacturer, KW only uses its own resources, high-quality components and the same damper technology as mass-produced manufacturers. Setup - factory pre-configured damping setupThe KW V1 has a vehicle-specific, permanently configured damper setup. The spring and the damper are perfectly matched to each other so that you experience an optimum balance of sportiness and suitability for everyday use when driving.
Even with a full payload and maximum axle loads, the dampers always work with a sporty characteristic curve. The KW V1 is particularly interesting for tuning enthusiasts who prioritise the show & shine concept.

KW coilover springs
The spring set with stepless lowering
KW coilover springs are used to lower the vehicle in combination with the standard dampers. In contrast to conventional spring sets, individual height adjustment is possible within the tested adjustment range. This solution uses vehicle-specific spring mounts with matched KW lowering springs and suitable elastomers as well as dust protection systems. The standard damper system, for example with electronic or hydraulic control, remains active.
Setup - sporty and harmonious spring rates
The high-quality chrome-silicon steel springs used by KW coilover springs are matched to the respective standard suspension dampers and wheel loads in their spring rate for each specific vehicle. When developing the respective spring sets, we ensure that the spring rates also harmonise perfectly with the different damper characteristics of your adaptive standard suspension. So even with a KW coilover spring set, you will experience your car more directly and dynamically. KW coilover springs are suitable for car drivers who want to lower their vehicle discreetly and take advantage of an individual adjustment range.
Stepless lowering
Similar to a coilover suspension, the KW coilover springs allow a stepless lowering in a discreet range. This is not possible with conventional lowering springs. The dust protection elements and spring travel limiters included in the scope of delivery are always adapted to the maximum possible lowering. This means that the height-adjustable KW springs can be used to achieve a sporty, harmonious driving behaviour without compromising the driving dynamics of performance-oriented vehicles.
