KW V4 coilover suspension incl. support bearings - State of the Art
With the new KW V4 with its coilover struts made of stainless steel or aluminum, you give your super sports car the necessary reserves to further increase the driving dynamics. The three-way adjustable high-performance dampers with their independent adjustment of the rebound as well as low-speed and high-speed compression damping are based on the successful racing technology of the multiple overall winner of the ADAC Zurich 24h Race Nürburgring and, depending on the vehicle-specific version, have aluminum support bearings. The new KW V4 is developed exclusively for selected high-performance vehicles, which can be moved more safely at the limits of driving dynamics thanks to our KW suspension technology.

Access to all data from the engine:The sensors are queried directly via Can Bus and are displayed on our tried-and-tested MFD28. The display for the E-series comes with a vehicle-specific cover and fits into the interior like an original part. This means that the ventilation through the slots remains intact.
Our display emulates a manufacturer tester so that all detailed values are available. We have optimized the protocol to achieve maximum polling speed.

After our 8V RS3 system, we have now also included the 8Y system in our programme. The 8Y RS3 intake system is suitable for all power levels, from standard equipment to those with more than 1000 hp. This intake system has been developed to provide the highest possible flow rate whilst achieving the lowest possible intake temperatures. Every component has been designed to give the turbo a smooth and free flow path. The intake pipe has an internal diameter of 103mm or just over 4? and has a smooth bend from the filter housing to the turbo inlet. The filter itself has been specifically designed for this inlet and has a huge outer diameter of 210mm or 8.3? with a filter area of over 130,000mm^2. The patented Venturi housing has been designed to provide the maximum possible internal volume for the RS3 engine bay and provides laminar flow to the turbo pipe. Finally, the duct seals the filter opening to the front slam plate, but is not restricted only by the stock intake opening. We have raised the front of the duct to now create an additional opening behind the bonnet, equivalent to an extra 7? diameter hole from which air can be drawn in. The resulting system has the ability to lift 840 CFM at 28? H2O while keeping intake temperatures to a minimum with the sealed design.
Flow tests
We conducted tests with a Superflow SF-1020 to measure the maximum possible flow rate at a pressure drop of 28" H2O. The tests were conducted on the same day under controlled conditions using the same test fixture for each system. We tested our complete intake system against the stock airbox system. The results show how restrictive the stock airbox is, which we were able to improve by up to 58% in maximum possible flow rate. Importantly, this was achieved with a sealed intake system so that intake temperatures are also kept to a minimum.
Dyno tests
Our RS3 intake system has been tested by various renowned tuners worldwide who have built high performance RS3/TTRS projects for road and track use. The first results come from MSL Performance, who tested our system on a stock 8Y RS3. The tests were carried out back-to-back on the same day. As you can see, there is a measurable gain across the rev range of up to 22bhp. This gain is noticeable even on a standard vehicle on the road due to better throttle response and faster acceleration.
